PIHRO (Pakistan International Human Rights Organization) is an independent, non-political NGO working to promote, protect, and realize human rights through advocacy, programs, research, and community engagement.

You can join by filling out the membership form on the PIHRO website. The application is reviewed for eligibility (age, background, commitment to social causes, etc.), after which your membership is approved.

PIHRO works in several thematic areas including Women’s Empowerment, Child Rights & Protection, Persons with Disabilities, Support for Tribal Communities, Homeless Populations, Health, Gender Advocacy & Legal Reform.

Yes. PIHRO offers various educational, training, and internship programs designed for both national and international students, activists, and professionals. These include short courses, capacity building workshops, and research-oriented learning.

Eligibility includes: being at least 18 years old; having a commitment to human rights/social justice; being impartial; free of serious criminal record; and being of sound mind. Additional criteria as defined by PIHRO membership policy.
