Dedication, commitment and hard work is what has helped PIHRO achieve its goals and objectives to date. It has been an exciting yet challenging fifteen years of perseverance and devotion, which has given PIHRO the strength to continue working on promoting and protecting Human Rights across Pakistan. PIHRO strongly believes that without cooperation there can be no peace and without the promotion of Human Rights, Social Development, Education, Health and Women’s Empowerment there cannot be a progressive Pakistan. PIHRO is committed to ensure every citizen regardless of race, colour, religion and ethnic background is able to enjoy his/her Human Rights without restriction and fear for the safety of their own well being. PIHRO has stood by the citizens and helped the vulnerable communities, refugees and prisoners obtain, enjoy and practice their Human Rights in times when the country was facing severe difficulties and witnessing flagrant violations of human rights.
As Chairman of this well established and well recognized Human Rights organization, I would like to offer a special note of gratitude to PIHROs members and volunteers. All our members and volunteers are so special to us; we would not be able to work without you. Regardless of which category you may fall in, we are glad that you are members of PIHRO and we thank you for your continued partnership with us, and for sharing so many of the same ethical and idealistic concerns. We look forward to identifying with you and seek new ways of working more closely together. You are the backbone of PIHRO and it exists because of you. We appreciate your efforts and we recognize that without your collaboration, dedication and commitment, PIHRO would not have been able to relish the success it has done so to date. You the members and volunteers are the ones who have built the reputation and promoted the work and name of PIHRO. We thank you for all your support and hard work and hope to continue working closely with you in years to come. By promoting the message of peace and prosperity together, we can envisage a brighter future for the coming generations and us. PIHRO remains deeply committed to supporting the ideas and promotion of the United Nations Human Rights Declaration and we seek all opportunities to facilitate and promote the message of Human Rights.

What Are HUMAN RIGHTS?
Let’s start with some basic definitions.
Every person is entitled to certain fundamental rights, simply by the fact of being human. These are called “human rights” rather than a privilege (which can be taken away at someone’s whim).
Nationwide network of lawyers and social activists.
Human Rights Legal Network is a nationwide network of lawyers and social activists who fight to combat injustice and protect the fundamental rights of marginalized communities and individuals through the use of the legal system.
